Good morning everyone! It's Friday, we made it, and what a heck of a week it was. We have coffee, a matcha latte, and we have a very special guest. In the studio live we have Mr. Jim Jarvis, VP of Programming & Sales for Paramount Theatre. The news you love, Jenettesplaining, and a great conversation. Buckle up and let's get into it! - The Aurora Noon Lions will hold their annual "Great Pumpkin" pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, at Luigi's Pizza and Fun Center, 732 Prairie St. in Aurora. The public is invited to attend in Halloween costumes. Parking is free. Free color photos will be taken and available in minutes. The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, mini donuts, orange juice and coffee or milk. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children 3 to 12 years old. Proceeds will benefit Lions' programs to aid vision- and hearing-impaired persons. Tickets may be purchased from Noon Lions Club members, at the door or by calling (630) 921-1307. Founded in 1922, Aurora Noon Lions Club is planning its centennial celebration for 2022. Open to men and women interested in community service, the club meets on the first and third Mondays at Luigi's Pizza, 732 Prairie St. in Aurora. Call (630) 892-8045 for more information. - Another great Trunk or Treat is coming up on October 22nd from 3:30 to 5:00 pm at J H Freeman Elementary There will be activities on school grounds, come dressed in a costume if you choose, and all students must be accompanied by an adult. Check that out, more spooky fun! Save the date and come out for a great time. #trunkortreat - Last but not least don't forget Fall Festival on the 23rd of this month. This will take place at the Prisco Community Center and is hosted by State Representative Barbara Hernandez & State Senator Linda Holmes.
