- The Veterans Gardening Day is taking place at Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry on Saturday, May 7th from 11 am to 1 pm. This will be a day of honoring the veterans of Illinois. Also, this will celebrate House Bill 2894, designating the 1st Saturday in May as Veterans Gardening Day. See the flyer for more details and thank you to all the sponsors for their hard work.
- A great community clean up event will be taking place on the 23rd of April. Join the Fox Valley Park District and the Office of State Representative Barbara Hernandez at Gregory Island Park. - Starting the 27th of this month and continuing to the 17th of May, the disabilities listening tour will meet at various locations in Aurora. Hosted by the Seniors & Disability Services department of the City of Aurora, this initiative aims to connect individuals with direct resources.
