We have HUD certified housing counselor Jerria Donelson of The Neighbor Project here to discuss ILHAF (Illinois Homeowner Assistance Fund) which opens April 11th. Starting in April 2022, the state will begin accepting applications from homeowners for grants of up to $30,000 to eliminate or reduce past-due mortgage and property tax payments. Very helpful! - The Village Food Pantry is open at Village Baptist Church to anyone in need. Village Baptist is located at 515 S. Frontenac road. A photo ID is required, and the pantry is open the second and fourth Friday of each month from 9:30 to 11 am. Come as early as 8:30 am and enjoy coffee and donuts. Join for Sunday worship as well.
