- The Aurora Steam Academy is open from 9 am to 4 pm Monday thru Thursday at APS Training Academy. All activities are free and the summer camp is open to all youth, Kindergarten thru 8th grade. - Summer At Aurora Regional Fire Museum! There are great events coming up here in downtown Aurora. Free admission, selfie and a lot of Aurora history will be on display. The Northern Illinois Fire Sprinkler Advisory Board will be in attendance on July 19th. Nicor Gas will be in the house on August 19th. Come on down to the fire museum and celebrate an Aurora gem!
- Last but not least, Saturday September 10th is the Kid’s Expo, taking place at Phillips Park! This is hosted by State Representative Stephanie Kifowit and will be held from 10 am to 1 pm. This is a free and fun event open to the public and will be held rain or shine. For more information call 630-585-1308. Bring the family out for a good time, we hope to see you there!
