- Our friends at RiverEdge Park are hiring for the upcoming summer concert season. Have fun, chill outdoors and get paid, all in a day’s work! Virtual job fairs will be taking place Tuesday February 8th, Thursday the 10th and Tuesday the 15th, 3:30 to 8 pm on each day. Many positions are available such as parking lot attendant, bar back & gatekeeper. All positions require weekend availability and are part time. Do you have a young person at home playing Madden and eating potato chips all day? Well if they need something to do, parents, let's get them a job! - Friday February 11th there will be live salsa dancing taking place at Java Plus. A great band called Impacto Boricua will be playing, there will be a specialty menu and the fun begins at 6:30 pm. Java Plus on Waterford is located at 1677 Montgomery Road, have a great date night and let them know you heard about it on Good Morning Aurora!
- February 5th is the kids pop up pantry from 10 am to noon taking place at Georgetown Elementary School located at 995 Long Grove Drive. That same day, the Administer Justice Legal Clinic will be taking place at the food pantry from 9 am to noon. On the 15th of February there will be a vaccine and booster clinic taking place at the pantry that will take place from 8:30 am to noon. Lastly, the Women’s Empowerment Mobile Pantry returns February 11th from 2 to 3 pm. Shouts out to our friends of the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry on all they do!
