- The 1st annual Tom-A-Hawk Turkey Trot is happening Saturday the 20th from 9 am to noon. Brought to us by our friends of the AEEF (Aurora East Educational Foundation) and A+ Foundation, join the running community of the Aurora area on a flat and fast course along the Fox River. ALL proceeds benefit the Aurora East Educational Foundation and A + Foundation for West Aurora Schools in their support of students on both the East and West sides of Aurora. This debut event is sure to be an exciting one, finishing with the final straightaway across the brand new pedestrian bridge in downtown Aurora.
