- This Wednesday State Representative Stephanie Kifowit Patty Smith Alderman Ward 8 and VNA Health Care are hosting a vaccine clinic taking place at the Eola Road branch of the Aurora Public Library, 555 S. - This is a big month for our friends of Alive Aurora! Great programs and a lot of fun. On Friday, February 18th from 6-7 pm A - Town Boxing Club is coming to teen drop-in for a collaborative event. They will be giving a boxing demonstration with the youth from their organization followed by some self-defense techniques tailored for teens. Next, calling all teens 5-12th grade, submit artwork for the Art Comes Alive teen art show! This will take place on May 6, 2021, from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm. Alive is looking for teens to submit up to two pieces of artwork for this special exhibit! They are excited to showcase the tremendous talent local youth have to offer!
- Shop local and show your love for small businesses during Aurora Downtown’s Love Local Days going until February 14. Find specials and enter raffles at participating businesses. Also, Art and Market Aurora brings more than a dozen local makers to a one-of-a-kind indoor market for six winter and spring dates. Visit the curated market from 9 a.m. to noon at Society 57, 100 S. River St. on the second and fourth Saturdays from February 12 through the end of April. Shop market vendors and local artisans. Free to enter and open to the public.
