- Summer At The Fire Museum! There are great events coming up here in downtown Aurora. Free admission, selfie and a lot of Aurora history will be on display. The Northern Illinois Fire Sprinkler Advisory Board will be in attendance on July 19th. Nicor Gas will be in the house on August 19th. Come on down to the fire museum and celebrate an Aurora gem!
- State Representative Barbara Hernandez has partnered with Meridian Health to host an Aurora Community Health Fair on Saturday, July 9th from 11am to 3pm at the Prisco Community Center. Meridian will offer FREE health screenings and immunizations, important health education, information, and resources, breast cancer and HIV awareness information, activities for everyone like Zumba, yoga, and food demonstrations, and a healthy food giveaway.
- aturday September 10th is the Kid’s Expo, taking place at Phillips Park! This is hosted by State Representative Stephanie Kifowit and will be held from 10 am to 1 pm. This is a free and fun event open to the public and will be held rain or shine. For more information call 630-585-1308. Bring the family out for a good time, we hope to see you there!
