- Saturday, April 9 from 1 to 3 pm Egg Hunt on the Island returns! This is an egg hunt on and around downtown’s Stolp Island. Go on a scavenger hunt and search for eggs in storefronts and more. That same day the Easter Bunny will be visiting Millennium Plaza. Stop by Bunny at the Gazebo and receive a free photo to download later online.
- On Monday House Bill 1466 was passed in the Illinois House. This important bill creates a pathway for people in Illinois to access and emergency 30 day supply of insulin. It also caps insulin co-payments at $35 a month! Thank you to State Rep. Will Guzzardi - 39th District for his hard work for the people of our great state!
- Last but not least, the Kane County Sheriff's Office is hosting a Kid’s Gun Safety discussion on April 9th from 10 am to noon. Topics discussed will be gun disposal, the safe storage of guns, basic gun safety rules and much more. There is a QR code to scan for registration on the shared social media flyer.
