Wednesday | 10/5/2022 | Mental Health In The African-American Community (NAMI KDK Returns!)

Good morning friends! We are back with another great discussion for you all today. We have Kimberly and Fermina of NAMI KDK with us for a great discussion about mental health in the African-American community. Let's get started, here's the news:

- Saturday, October 15th will be a day of action and voter outreach. Join Representative Barbara Hernandez State Senator Karina Villa and Judge Bianca Camargo for Kane County Circuit Judge at Tredwell Coffee for two shifts, 11 am and 2 pm. The team will enjoy some coffee and knock on doors! Become part of the team and support our local leaders this election season. RSVP at this link:

- Saturday, October 8th from 11 am to 2 pm the Aurora Illinois Police Department and other law enforcement bodies will host the national Faith & blue weekend. The purpose of this event is to build bridges between law enforcement and the community with faith, resolution and reconciliation. This will take place at the Aurora Police Department, 1200 E.
