Good evening ladies and gentlemen! We are proud to host and moderate a serious debate and discussion about mental health, trauma and crisis. Nationally, mental health is at the forefront of our collective discussion. Tonight we are joined by a panel of experts and two special guests: Mr. Ernie Stevens & Mr. Joe Smarro. Both gentlemen are the subject of a riveting HBO documentary titled: Crisis Cops. Ernie and Joe are two San Antonio, Texas police officers who respond to mental health incidents and calls. In a masterful display of emotion, professionalism and reality the filmmaker Jennifer McShane gives the viewer an up close & personal view of their everyday life.
